Default UW- Smite Run

Ok this guy is saying were doing a smite run but no ones using smites. He says thats what the nukers are for.

So I'm utterly confused doesn't a smite run require smite skills? Such as Balthazars Aura and such or am I crazy?

Or does smite run refer to something else?

Smite Crawlers are a type of monster class in the UW which generally drop good loot. A quick UW trip with the sole purpose of farming smites is known as a Smite Run.
It has nothing to do with Monk's Smiting Skills.

With the trends being what they are lately, I imagine he was referring to a Ranger Trapper build.

you can also do smite crawler runs in the UW as a smiting monk...which may lead to your confusion.

as lasher already said, the most popular builds for smite runs are all trapper groups. the smite crawlers are the one's that drop a lot of high end items.

Yeah, you can get a lot of fun loot off them, not to mention some ecto.
